What is Mimouna?
Mimouna is a traditional North African Jewish celebration held right after Passover. Named after Rabbi Maimon ben Yosef (father of Maimonides), it celebrates the return to everyday life with abundance, hospitality and sweetness. It has become one of the most colorful and joyous holidays in Israel.
